Rene Heißner

René Heißner is a psychology graduate student with a strong focus on psychophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, and performance psychology. During his time at the German Sport University Cologne, he contributed to several research projects and gained extensive hands-on experience in the preparation, implementation, and analysis of psychophysiological studies.
His work involved physiological and behavioral assessment methods including HRV, ECG, EEG, TMS, and respiratory measurements. In addition, he supported literature reviews, data analysis, laboratory organization, participant management, and the preparation of scientific presentations and research materials.
His current interests focus on the effects of breathing techniques on physiological regulation, cognition, and human performance.
