2026 KSSP Workshop Seoul
Recently the 2026 International Sport Science Congress took place in Seoul at the Korea National Sports University. The congress welcomes concise oral research presentations and poster exchanges across sport psychophysiology, autonomic regulation, recovery science, and applied performance systems. Prof. Dr. Dr. Sylvain Laborde contributed with a keynote talk, workshops and lectures regarding a focused exploration of how Heart Rate Variability, Vagal Tank Theory, and applied psychophysiology can inform better readiness, recovery, and performance decisions in sport. Within his time in Korea, Sylvain was able to visit the Korean Institute of Sport Science (Olympia park), present his book "Heart Rate Variability"and visit the Chonnam National University Gwangju. Together with other researchers from the Performance Psychology department, Prof. Dr. Dr. Sylvain Laborde was part of the 16th ISSP (International Society of Sport Psychology) World Congress in Hong Kong, China. The ISSP celebrated the 60th anniversary with content on the global past, the present and the future of science and practice in sport, exercise and perfromance psychology. The new University Diploma "Optimisation de la Haute Performance Collective" (OHPCo) from the Université de Bourgogne focuses on mental preparation, teamwork, and collective performance in high-level sports. We are proud to announce our participation in the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Society for Psychophysiological Research (SPR), held October 15-18, 2025, in Montréal, Canada.
This annual meeting brings together researchers, clinicians, and students to share the latest advances in psychophysiology through symposia, poster sessions, plenary talks, and PE-conference workshops. Topics span a wide range, including methodologies, neurophysiological measurement techniques, signal processing, translational applications, and emerging directions in the study of interface between psychological processes and physiological systems.
DAAD in Paris
We took part in the DAAD 2025 anniversary event in Paris, celebrating 100 years of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The DAAD promotes international academic exchange and cooperation between Germany and the world.
