Daria Bormotova

Daria Bormotova is a Master's student at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, where she expects to complete her degree in the summer of 2027. Her research interests include clinical psychology, pain perception, stress and recovery, as well as decision-making. Her Master's thesis focuses on patch-leaving decisions under dynamic environmental conditions.

After completing her degree, Daria plans to pursue a career in research. Through her internship at the HRV Lab from July to October 2026, she hopes to gain further experience in research planning and the development of studies, while expanding her knowledge of psychophysiology and heart rate variability.

She is particularly interested in learning more about how HRV can provide insights into autonomic regulation and processes related to stress and recovery, while gaining practical experience with HRV research and measurement.
