Linette Frantzen

B. Sc. Psychology

Linette Frantzen is a Bachelor's student in Psychology at the Rheinische Hochschule Köln. She will begin her fifth semester in September 2026 and is expected to complete her Bachelor's degree in the summer of 2027. From July to December 2026, she is completing an internship at the HRV LABorde.

During her internship, Linette is gaining practical insight into applied sport psychology and psychophysiological research. She is particularly interested in developing a deeper understanding of heart rate variability (HRV), sport-specific diagnostics and psychological assessment methods, as well as exploring how psychological and physiological processes interact in the context of sport and performance. By contributing to research activities such as participant testing, data collection and processing, she has the opportunity to complement her academic studies with hands-on research experience.

Alongside her research activities, Linette contributes to the lab's digital presence. She is involved in developing and expanding its social media channels and in communicating scientific topics in an accessible and engaging way.

Her internship at the HRV LABorde also provides an opportunity to explore different areas of psychology beyond her Bachelor's studies. By gaining experience across diagnostics and sport psychology, she hopes to develop a clearer understanding of her academic interests and future specialization, particularly with choosing a field for her Master's degree.
